Hello there. My name is Holly von Huene. I am a home design enthusiast and blogger. You can also find me blogging at The Design Chef and We Heart Home. This online space is about sharing my passion, inspiration and discoveries with anyone who may be interested. It is also a way to connect with likeminded individuals. Thanks to blogging and the internet, there are no boundaries in achieving those things.
Currently living in Germany, I am originally from Montreal, Canada and have Italian family roots. Apart from being educated in the field of Interior Design, I also proudly hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. My cultural experiences and educational background are constantly inspiring my work in a creative way.
When I am not immersed in my work, you can find me engaging in other activities I love - such as spending time with my family and friends, doing yoga, painting, making the perfect coffee, watching Mad Men and going for bike rides with my husband. I am also wildly mad about anything that has to do with dance and I am constantly intrigued by behavioural neuroscience. Oh, and I just adore my cat, Jack.
