Some of you may know about my love affair with Berlin. So you can imagine how happy I am to present this awesome Berlin-based online shop called:

ShowRaum is all about turning used and found materials into design products and furniture. Good for originality, good for the environment, exemplary of creativity and craftsmanship - these products are perfect for planet- and style- conscious interiors. Here's what ShowRaum says:

"Discarded materials, a green attitude and a teaspoon of madness are the main ingredients in our work. Materials are reground, processed and joined to create beautifully crafted objects with a distinct function. " 

I think the group of international designers at ShowRaum do such a great job. It seems I'm really into their lighting designs, eh?

I found ShowRaum a little while ago in real life, strolling down the streets of Berlin, instead of on my daily strolls through the blog-o-sphere. One glimpse in the window and I was immediately captivated. But it was late in the evening and the shop was closed. So I noted the name and Googled it later. To my pleasant surprise, they not only had a website, but an online shop too! And they deliver world wide! 

Sadly, I was leaving Berlin the next morning so I didn't have time to pop back there and snoop around. Next time I'm in Berlin, I will definitely be passing by for a visit.
