Monday has arrived. How was your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxed, nice pace - spent time with friends in the city, a leisurely brunch on Sunday, and finished up some work on my latest interior design project. I thought I'd share it with you since it‘s a mood board concept, perfect for a Moodboard Monday.
Here‘s a bit of info on the project brief. The client is moving into a new apartment and needed help with the living room. It is a small room, with dark wood floors, regular height ceilings and a good amount of natural light. The walls are white and ready to be painted (she wanted a light color, but not pure white). She already had 2 armchairs, a light wood shelving unit and a painting that she wanted to use in the space. Her keywords were modern, cozy, clean, not girly - rich but breezy. She likes green and blue but wanted a mainly neutral base for the color scheme. She lives in the USA and her budget for furnishings and painting was $1,200. We came in $158.33 under budget, yay! With this mood board and the customized shopping list I made for her, she‘s all set to turn her ideas into reality.
After a few alterations and adjustments, the mood board you see above was the final result. What do you think?
Happy Monday to you all.
